The Dangs

The Dangs is a district in the State of Gujarat in India.

History

During British India, It was a forest district in the N. of the Presidency of Bombay, occupied by fifteen wild tribes, each under a chief. Several wars were fought between the five tribal kings of Dang and the British Raj.
