Thecodont

Thecodonts were creatures having teeth (odont) fixed in sockets (thec) in the jaws. We have found fossil evidence of this creature which was quadrupedal or partly bipedal reptile.

Scientists treat them ancestral to the dinosaurs and other archosaurs.

Thecodonts were creatures of the Triassic period.
