Tholkobad is in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand in India. It is situated at about 46 kms south of the Manoharpur block headquarter. This village is famous for the oldest Sal tree in the world. This is called Saranda Queen. The perimetre of the three is about 25 feet. Another important thing about this village is that it is situated at an elevation of 1800 feet. Moreover, this place is considered so beautiful that it draws large number of visitors.
