Thomas Frognall Dibdin

Thomas Frognall Dibdin (1775-1847) was an English bibliographer, nephew of Charles Dibdin, born in Calcutta, India. He took orders in the Church of England. He held several preferments. He wrote several works all more or less of a bibliographical character, which give proof of extensive research, but are lacking often in accuracy and critical judgment. He was one of the founders of the Roxburghe Club.
