Thomas Mann

Thomas Mann (1875 - 1955), full name Paul Thomas Mann, was a German novelist, short story writer, social critic, philanthropist, and essayist. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature laureate in 1929 . His novels are highly symbolic sometimes referred to as ironic epic novels. His works are also known for insights into the psychology of the artist and the intellectual.
