Toni Morrison

Toni Morrison (1931-2019), full name Chloe Anthony Wofford Morrison, born Chloe Ardelia Wofford, was a US writer, novelist, and memoirist. She is known for African American experience in her works. She received Pulitzer Prize in 1987. She also became first African American to receive Nobel Prize in literature (1993).
