Total Expense Ratio

Total Expense Ratio (TER) is a term in finance and economics for a measure of the total expense in managing and operating an investment fund.

Mathematically it is expressed as:

TER=TFC divided by TFA (TFC is Total Fund Costs, and TFA is Total Fund Assets)
