Trikut Parvat is situated 10 kms away from Deoghar on the way to Dumka in Jharkhand state of India. It derived its name from the three peaks here. It is also called Trikutachal. The height of this hill is 2470 feet. It is said that Sage Bam Bam Baba used to come here for penance. This place is also called the Garden of Shiv. There is also a temple of Shiva at this place known as Trikutachal Mahadeva Temple. This place is also important for another reason. It is the mouth of river Mayurakshi. Here is also an altar of the goddess of Trishuli. There is a cottage of sage Dayananda.
