!WEEK Week is the period of seven consecutive days traditionally beginning with Sunday and ending with Saturday. It is supposed to have been suggested by the interval between the quarters of the moon. However, in modern days, a week is considered to begin with Monday and ending on Sunday. These days are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. All these days are assigned to heavenly bodies, planets of our solar system. Only Monday is assigned to Moon, the planet of the Earth. Fifty two weeks form a year.
