Yahya Kemal Beyatli

Yahya Kemal Beyatli (1884-1958), Yahya Kemal in short, born Ahmet Âgâh, was a Turkish poet, politician, and diplomat. He was a neoclassical poet who imitated the masters of Ottoman and Persian traditions. He is best-known for poems that captured scenes of Istanabul.
