Zalman Shneour

Zalman Shneour (1887-1959) was a self-taught Israeli poet and writer. He was also termed as an 'urban poet' mainly due to his works focusing on cities and lifestyles therein. He was one of the key person in the literary renaissance of Israel, and was even nominated for Nobel Prize.
