Zero Energy State

The state in which a machine has been made temporarily incapable of accidental start-up or movement. This state is achieved by shutting off or disconnecting all power sources, and draining, bleeding or blocking all residual energy sources such as: gravity, hydraulics, compressed air, springs, and capacitators.
