Talking to IPA Atul Anjaan said the economic condition of the country was facing unprecedented crisis for the last 36 months.

CPI National Secretary Atul Kumar Anjaan said that the trade deficit widened to $15.7 billion, highest in 2020 according to Commerce ministry.

CPI leader further said that in last nine months, the infrastructure sector continuously registered decline in production.

In the eight months of current financial year, the major infrastructure sectors like crude oil, natural gas, refinery products, steel and cement registered production decline of 11.4 percent, Anjan disclosed.

The CPI leader said that fiscal deficit increased by the end of November up to Rs. 10.75 lakh Crores which is estimated 131.1 percent of 2020-2021 budget estimation.

The CAG in its report indicated that the Govt crossed the income expenditure limit in last July and Govt activities were going on heavy external internal borrowings.

Talking about farmer’s agitation Atul Anjaan said that it would continue till demands were met.

Anjaan who is member of All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee said that farmers agitation was getting popular support.

He said that in North - Eastern states too, the agitation t has started and in Assam and Manipur, farmers continuing the agitation and hunger strike in all the districts.

CPI leader addressed the farmers rally in Patna recently and he was moved by the response from the farmers and the public.

Atul Anjaan informed that on January 1 agitating took the oath on constitution from village to district for their demands. (IPA Service)
