There is no doubt that the recent visit of Priyanka Gandhi boosted the moral of Congress leaders and workers but her continuous presence at Lucknow would certainly make difference to party to face challenge of Mission 2022.

Under the guidance of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, AICC general Secretary and incharge of UP, party organisation was formed at district, block and nayayapanchayat level.

Through series of kisanpanchayats and other local outreach programs, party organisation was strengthened in rural areas.

Significantly enough Congress is organising training programs zone wise where block level party president's, district and city unit president's and state level party office bearers are taking part.

Priyanka Gandhi is addressing all training camps with emphasis on assembly polls and issues of unemployment, inflation and corruption to be taken to public. Priyanka also asked congress workers to take anti people policies of state government to the people as part of campaign for assembly polls.

Priyanka Gandhi told the party leaders and workers attending training camps that feedback from them would be taken while making the party manifesto as well as finalising the candidates.

Beside Priyanka Gandhi, senior Congress leaders UPCC president Ajay Lallu, Pramod Tiwari and PL Punia are engaged in formulating the strategy for traning with focus on forthcoming assembly polls.

It would be worth mentioning here that Congress had won only seven seats in alliance with Samajwadi Party in 2017 polls.. Out of seven MLAs, two are showing the signs of dissidence.

Congress is also facing rift in old guards and youth leadership. While old guards feel being left out and forming their own group, the younger generation has taken over the organisation.

Congress leaders feel on eve of assembly polls, there is a need to bring all those party leaders workers who were feeling sidelined and withdrew from active participation.

There is no doubt during pandemic Priyanka Gandhi mobilised the party leaders and workers to hit streets to help migrant labourers and take up the cause of supply of oxygen, medicine and hospital beds. Congress workers and leaders courted arrest during dharna and agitation to focus on inflation, unemployment and corruption.

Priyanka Gandhi is also working on reviving Sewa Dal which used to be very effective and powerful frontal organization earlier. Besides reviving Sewa Dal other frontal organisations are being revamped.

During her recent visit Priyanka left the issue of alliance open for discussion despite bad experience with Samajwadi Party in 2017 polls and earlier with BSP.

With the news of strategy expert Prashant Kishor joining hands with Congress high Command, the final decision on alliance would be taken at an appropriate time.
