His observation would certainly catch the imagination of the middle class people of India, for whom it has wider bearing. The section of the people which has been neck deep in corrupt practices, comes out screaming against corruption and imperative need for protecting India and its societal norms. Addressing the RSS cadres on the occasion of annual Dussehra celebration at Nagpur, Bhagwat lamented; “What happened in Calcutta in the R G Kar Hospital was a shameful incident, which is an insult to all of us. Such incidents are the result of a larger cultural decay and corruption in society”.
Bhagwat is the chief of the so called largest cultural and social organisation of India. Since he has mentioned about Bengal, obviously one expects that he should have been aware of the crime against women across the country during his party’s rule. Bhagwat ought to take note that the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) annual report for 2023 has revealed a distressing surge of 4% in crimes against women in India throughout 2022. The report underlines a surge in crimes against children, senior citizens, Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST) by 8.7%, 9.3%, 13.1%, and 14.3%, respectively.
It is quite revealing to note that Uttar Pradesh, ruled by his blue eyed boy Yogi Adityanath, who he tries to project as the alternate to Modi, has registered the highest number of 65,743 cases of crimes against women under IPC and Special and Local Laws (SLL), Maharashtra recorded 45,331 cases, and Rajasthan reported 45,058 cases, each with varying chargesheet rates. The other two states have also been ruled by his party.
Since Bhagwat does not have the minimum amount of concern for humanity and ensuring women’s security, he preferred to maintain a muted silence. But he could not restrain himself when it came to Bengal. His address was purely outrageous and political in nature and content. His prejudice against the Mamata government got manifest in his observation; “attempts were made to cover up” the rape and murder of a junior doctor at the state-run R G Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata.” How could he come out with this nature of statement, when CBI, the caged parrot of Narendra Modi, has implicated only one person and ruled out any cover up?
Bhagwat must refrain from projecting himself as the Pitamah of the Modi and BJP government. It was indeed shocking to hear him threatening the state government. Citing old traditions of India, Bhagwat said, “When Droupadi’s clothes were touched, Mahabharata happened, and when Sita was abducted, Ramayana happened. What happened in Calcutta in the R G Kar Hospital was a shameful incident, which is an insult to all of us”. Is Bhagwat inciting the RSS to attack the Mamata government?
The RSS chief’s common refrain has been there is an attempt to create conflict by creating separation on the basis of caste, language, province etc. Will he refuse that none else but RSS leaders and especially his pracharak, Modi has been indulging in this dirty game? His election speeches are testimony to it. By putting the blame on utopian “deep state” for dividing the Hindu society he in fact has been breaking the Hindu society and smashing the Hindu ethos and values.
Bhagwat said: “Our diversity has reached a point where we have even divided our saints and deities. Why is Valmiki Jayanti celebrated only in Valmiki colonies?” Little doubt he is the only person to reply to these questions. People have yet not forgotten the outburst of Sankaracharya on the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. If Bhagwat was really conscious of the decline of the Hindu ethos, he should have listened to Sankaracharya’s objections and boycotted the inauguration. But no, he performed the Puja.
It is a known fact RSS produces preachers and cadres who abhor truth. Bhagwat too is not an exception. The RSS chief said that foundation of a healthy and capable society lies in social harmony and mutual goodwill among various communities. “Achieving this goal requires more than just organising symbolic programmes. Friendship between individuals and families must exist across all sections of society.” Does he have moral strength and conviction to confess that Indian society never witnessed this nature of division and hatred as it has been witnessing during the ten years of saffron rule, led by Modi. Will Bhagwat clarify that what he did during these years to rectify the malaise and distortions?
Bhagwat being highly critical of Mamata government and her rule has not come as a shock. Saffron ecosystem has been after her for long. The design to destabilise Mamata government is clearly manifest in his remark that for preventing similar incident to recur in the state utmost vigilance should be maintained. None will contradict him. But will he spell out what kind of vigilance should be adopted? What vigilance he or his RSS or his blue eyed chief minister of Uttar Pradesh have adopted to stop this nature of crime in that state? If Mamata is trying to protect the culprits, how the non-action of Yogi against such elements would be viewed and analysed? Do the incidents taking place in BJP ruled states owe to the nexus between crime and politics, the poisonous culture of perpetuating the politics of hatred by saffron ecosystem?
Shocking indeed even after realising “such narratives are spread in India. There are several forces at play to derail India’s progress,” including “deep state”, “wokeism”, “cultural Marxism”, Bhagwat is hell bent on creating a monster. Bhagwat, who had mentioned in his last year’s Vijayadashami speech about these forces, have once again reminded the people of their presence. But his political compulsion is so acute that he is unwilling to give a second thought and retreat. (IPA Service)
BHAGWAT’S DUSSEHRA ADDRESS INCITES RSS TO ACT AGAINST MAMATA GOVT IN BENGAL
HE SHOULD KNOW THAT BJP RULED STATES LEAD IN RAPE-MURDER CASES IN THE COUNTRY

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat taking out time to condemn the sordid incident of rape and murder of a woman medic, after two months of its happening, exposes his hypocrisy. What is also inexplicable is he had taken more than a year to speak on Manipur genocide and mass rape of the women there, but it took only two months for him to shed crocodile tear on the decay of the cultural ethics. No doubt Bhagwat, not even his biggest pracharak Narendra Modi, can only do it.
