For a change the film 'World's Deadliest Towns' explained that at the end of the day, humans are indeed encroaching into the territories of wild animals, and now the animals are fighting back. But at the same time it is impossible for the people to get out and move to other safer places.

'In India there are over a billion people competing for space. When you see a father with four children you know he should be able to do anything he can to feed his kids. Then you see the elephant and her calf and you believe that she should do anything to feed her little one,” the film coming in well known Discovery Channel said.

The film depicts one of the scariest and saddest stories that took place in the Northeast India where tea plantations have taken over forests in which elephants used to roam. There it is common for farmers to chase the gentle giants out of their villages, forcing the elephants to literally run around in circles.

The film mentions one of the scariest stories involving a she elephant which was part of a stampede in which her calf was killed. She then not only started killing people but eating them too. It is very rare that herbivore turning into a man-eater, but the incident was true and even during the fortnight shooting of the film as many as nine people were killed by elephants in the area.

The film focused on Northeast India, the Sundarbans and Zambia. Since a bulk of the wild animals versus people problems occur in India two episodes are devoted to India only. For a change the channel is showing the human suffering and animal access too.

World's Deadliest Towns is a three-part series that focuses on elephant issues in parts of Northeast India; hippos killing entire families in Zambia's Zambezi River; and Royal Bengal Tigers killing people on a daily basis at the Sundarbans in West Bengal. But for the first time the show is able to expose the story from both sides.
