OLD PEOPLE NEED COMPLETE HEALTH COVERAGE, GET ONLY HEALTH INSURANCE

NARENDRA MODI GOVERNMENT MUST ACCEPT RIGHT TO HEALTH AS FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT
Dr. Gyan Pathak - 2024-09-12 11:57
Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government has a penchant for launching exaggeratingly “exciting and impressive” schemes, but many of them only skin deep, ignoring the real issues facing the people of India. The latest cabinet decision on September 11, 2024 relating to health coverage of old people above 70 years of age is a glaring example. When the old people really needed “complete health coverage” the Centre approved only a “health insurance coverage” to all above 70 of only Rs5 lakh, merely a lollipot to sweeten the mouth for votes.

SO FAR HARRIS TRUMPS DONALD AND THAT IS NONE TOO GOOD FOR NARENDRA MODI

THE DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE IS A STRONG DEFENDER OF HUMAN RIGHTS
Anjan Roy - 2024-09-12 11:43
If debates between rival leaders decided outcomes, then Kamala Harris has won the US presidential race. The entire media, including the arch conservative ones, could not but admit that the debate on September 10 night could not have been better for Harris, and worst for Donald Trump.

APPEARANCE VS. ESSENCE: A MARXIST LOOK AT THE HARRIS-TRUMP DEBATE

TRUMP WAS OUTRAGEOUS BUT KAMALA ALSO LACKED CLARITY ON MANY URGENT ISSUES
C.J. Atkins - 2024-09-12 11:37
WASHINGTON: Watching the Harris-Trump debate, an old idiom came to my mind: “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” Karl Marx had another way of saying much the same thing: “All science would be superfluous if the outward appearance and the essence of things directly coincided.”

RAHUL GANDHI SEEN WITH KNOWN ANTI-NATIONAL ELEMENTS ABROAD CREATES CONTROVERSY

MANY OF THEM ARE BASICALLY ANTI-INDIAN, NOT JUST OPPOSED TO NARENDRA MODI
Sushil Kutty - 2024-09-12 11:31
Rahul Gandhi in the USA is proving to be a nightmare for the Narendra Modi-led NDA Government. Also to India that is Bharat. His statements made abroad do not make him a patriot. But patriotism is the last refuge for scoundrels. So, whoever is writing the script for Rahul Gandhi should be given a one-way ticket to the farthest town in the hemisphere.

A PRAGMATIC APPROACH TOWARDS CHINESE INVESTMENTS MUST FOR INDIA’S MANUFACTURING GOALS

FOREIGN MINISTER DR. S JAISHANKAR’S REMARK INDICATES A NUANCED STAND ON THE SENSITIVE ISSUE
K Raveendran - 2024-09-11 12:06
India's economic aspirations have long been anchored in the expansion of its manufacturing sector, a goal that has become increasingly critical as the country seeks to position itself as a global economic powerhouse. It is widely believed that the realisation of this goal would be impossible without Chinese investments, which however, come with certain risks to national security. In fact, Chinese companies have played a key role in India’s emergence as the second largest manufacturer of mobile phones in the world.

CONFIDENT KAMALA HARRIS TAKES ON DONALD TRUMP IN HER FIRST PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE

DEMOCRATS ARE UPBEAT BUT THE RACE IS TOO CLOSE FOR NOVEMBER 5 POLLS
Sushil Kutty - 2024-09-11 12:03
Who won Tuesday's Trump-Harris debate and the answer was in the media's pocket. Democrat Kamala Harris had to just show up while Republican Donald Trump had to field pointed questions. Harris owned the media and Kamala wasn't late at the ABC show. Kamala's highlight of the debate was her quip that Trump's "bored fans were leaving all his rallies."

As Chief adviser to the current ruling regime, Dr M. Yunus has won a measure of local praise for keeping the administration going despite all pulls and pressures.
