Crécy
Crécy was a French village 12 miles North-East of Abbeville, where the Battle of Crecy was fought on August 26, 1346. King Edward III of England, with 30,000 army, defeated the French force under King Philip VI with 68,000, and destroyed the flower of the chivalry of France.
