GALAXY, the Milky Way, a band of light seen after sunset across the sky, consisting of an innumerable multitude of stars stretching away into the depths of space.

It is a huge congregation of stars that hold together by force of gravity. Our universe is consited of many galaxies. They seem to be scattered in Space.
