Abbé Fauchet
Abbé Fauchet (1744-1793) was a French Revolutionary, a Girondin. He blessed the National tricolor flag. He was "a man of Te Deums and public consecrations". He was a member of the first parliament. However, he was ultimately stripped of his insignia, lamented the death of the king, perished on the scaffold.Nearby pages
