Abd al Athiyah

Abd al Athiyah (d. 828) was an Arabic poet. He was a prominent poet of the Umayyad dynasty. He was famous for ascetic views and gloomy outlook. He used Hadith (saying of the prophet Muhammad) in his poetry.
