Achilles Tatius

Achilles Tatius (c.100 - c.170) was a Greek romancer. He flourished in the 2nd century AD. He wrote the romance of "Leucippe and Cleitophon." He lived and wrote in Alexandria.

There was another Achilles Tatius who lived in the 3rd century, and perhaps flourished in the beginning of the 4th century A.D. He was also an author and wrote "On the [Heavenly] Sphere" among others.
