Aeson

Aeson, in Greek mythology, was the father of Jason. He was king of Iolcus in Thessaly in ancient Greece. One version of the story says that he was killed by Jason's wife Medea, who restored him back to youth. Another version says that he was imprisoned by his half-brother Pelias, and when Pelias intended to kill him he committed suicide.
