African elephant

African elephant is the elephant native to Africa, of the genus Loxodonta africana , belonging to Elephantidae family. larger than Indian elephant having larger ears and a two-lipped trunk. There are two extant species of this elephant - the African bush elephant and the smaller African forest elephant.
