Agave

Agave is a succulent plant native to tropical America and the southern US of the genus of the same name belonging to agavaceae family.

The plant derives its name from Agaue, the name of one of the daughters of Cadmus in Greek mythology. which meant illustrious.

It has rosettes of narrow spiny leaves and tall flower spikes.
