Aghasur

Aghasur, in Hindu mythology, was a demon, a general in Kans' army. He was brother of Bakasur and demoness Putna.

As per a mythological story, Kans sent him to Gokul to kill baby Krishna. He went there in form of a snake and swallowed him along with his friends near Yamuna. Perceiving the design, Krishna started increasing his size until the belly of the snake burst open. Subsequently, Aghasur took his original form and then died.
