Akebia

Akebia is the name given by a French botanist J Decaisne to a climbing shrub native to eastern Asia from Japanese akebi. It grows purple berries, having purplish flowers and deeply divided leaves, and is grown as ornamental plant in North America.

It is of the genus Akebia quinata. It belongs to Lardizabalaceae family.
