Amen-em-Opet

Amen-em-Opet ( c. 1200 BC) was an Egyptian scribe who is said to have authored the "Instructions of Amen-em-Opet". It is a book of instructions from a father to a son giving advice on behaviour, deportment, and the like. The work is attributed to him, but his authorship is yet to be established. He is also knows as the "Truely Silent One of Abydos".
