Ananda

Ananda is the highest state of being happy. It is called the bliss in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.

Ananda, according to Hindu philosophy, is one of the three forms of the soul. The two other forms are Sat and Chit. It is said that ananda is the basic nature of the soul. Anandvadis, the followers of the philosophy of ananda, insist that we owe to this element for the life we have. In Taitiriya Upanishad, it is said to be the cause, of existence, the basis, and termination of this world. In Brihadaranyaka Upanishad, this word is used to denote Parbrahma (the Supreme God).

Aanandvadis say that attaining this state is the Moksha.
