Anatase

Anatase is a mineral. Chemical name of this compound is titanium dioxide having chemical formula TiO2. It is one of the tetragonal forms of this mineral, the other two being brookite and rutile. Though the chemical formula of the three is same, their structures are different. It is usually found as brown crystals, and is used as a pigment in paints and inks.
