Andocides

Andocides (467-393 B.C.) was an orator and leader of the oligarchical faction in Athens in ancient Greece. He was four times exiled, the first time for profaning the Eleusinian Mysteries. His name figures among the ten Attic orators included in the "Alexandrian Canon" compiled by Aristophanes of Byzantium and Aristarchus of Samothrace in the third century BC.
