Anglo-Catholicism

Anglo-Catholicism is the doctrine and practice within the Anglican Church. Though it is broadly identified with High Church Anglicanism, it is very close to Catholicism in its doctrine and worship. It is the offshoot of the Oxford Movement of the 1830s and 1840s in Britain.
