Anthrax

Anthrax, also called splenic fever or wool-sorter's disease, is a disease, especially in sheep and cattle, due to the invasion of a living organism which, under certain conditions, breeds rapidly. This notifiable bacterial disease typically affects the skin and lungs. When it is transmitted to humans, it causes severe skin ulcer or a form of pneumonia.
