Antigonus Gonatas

Antigonus Gonatas (c. 320 BC— 239 BC), also Antigonus II, was king of Macedonia, the grandson of Antigonus I (382 BC – 301 BC), He was twice deprived of his kingdom, but recovered it. He attempted to prevent the formation of the Achæan League.
