Apollinaris

Apollinaris (c. 310-c. 390) was a bishop of Laodicea in Asia Minor who denied the proper humanity of Christ. He upheld the heretical doctrine that Jesus Christ had a human body but His body was not composed of ordinary flesh and blood. Jesus Christ has soul but no human spirit. He also affirmed that the the divine Logos in Him took the place of the human soul.
