Archosaur

Archosaur is a term in zoology and paleontology for a large group of reptiles. Today, only crocodilians represent this group, but in prehistoric era, the group also included the dinosaurs and pterosaurs. Archosaurs belonged to the subdivision Archosauria and subclass Diapsida.
