Armed Soldier of Democracy

Armed Soldier of Democracy in a nickname of Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821), a French military officer and statesman who rose to prominence during the French Revolution, became the leader of the French Republic as First Consul in 1799 and remained so until 1804, then of the French Empire. He became the Emperor of the French Empire in 1804 and remained so until 1814, and then briefly again in 1815.
