Arthur Henry Hallam
Arthur Henry Hallam (1811-1838) was the eldest son of Henry Hallam. He was the early friend of Tennyson. He died suddenly of cerebral haemorrhage at Vienna to the bitter grief of his father and of his friend. Lord Alfred Tennyson's "In Memoriam" (1850) is a long elegy over his loss.Nearby pages
