Ascetic

Ascetic is someone, especially a monk, practicing sever self-discipline and abstention from all forms of indulgence, typically for religious reasons, or something characterized by this practice. Ascetics quit all forms of worldly pleasures, which they believe necessary for their spiritual and religious growth, and many of them become mendicants.
