Assiniboine River

Assiniboine River is a name of a river that flows in south central Canada. It flows from eastern Saskatchewan into Manitoba and traverse about 950 km (590 miles) before joining the Red River at Winnipeg. It perhaps gave its name to the community Assiniboines formerly living on the banks of this river in southern Manitoba.
