Austrasia

Austrasia, also known as the East Kingdom, was an ancient kingdom on the East of the possessions of the Franks in Gaul, that existed from 511 to 843. Metz was its capital city. It was celebrated for its rivalry with the kingdom of Neustria, or the Western Kingdom.
