Austronesian

Austronesian, also called Malayo-Polynesian, is a family of languages or anything of or related to it. These languages are spoken in the area from the Pacific islands in the east to Madagascar in the west. Austronesia consists of Madagascar, Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan and the Pacific islands of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia where 1268 languages of this family are spoken.
