Baffin Island

Baffin Island is the largest island of the Canadian Arctic. It was discovered in 1616 by William Baffin and was subsequently named after him. The island is situated at the mouth of Hudson Bay in the Canadian Arctic Ocean. The strait named Baffin Bay separates it from Greenland.
