Bald

Bald is a state of a person having a scalp lacking hair partly or wholly. The term refers to an animal not covered by the usual fur, hair, or feathers. A plant not covered by usual leaves or bark, and a land not covered by the usual vegetation is also referred to as bald. If the threads are worn away, a tire is called bald. A statement can be called bald if without any extra detail or explanation, ie simply plain or blunt.
