Balkhilya

Balkhilya, in Hindu mythology, is a name given to a kind of Rishis, very small in size, just about the size of a thumb.

It is said that they walk in front of the chariot of Surya. They are said to be sixty thousand in number. They are offsprings of Sannati and Kratu.
