Baluchistan

Baluchistan is an arid, desert and mountainous region of western Asia lying to the south of Afghanistan and extending to the Persian Gulf. The region includes part of southeastern Iran, southwestern Afghanistan, and western Pakistan.

The area of Baluchistan region that are part of Pakistan forms a province of the same name. Quetta is the capital of the Baluchistan province.
