Bangweolo

Bangweolo, also Bangweulu, is a lake in northern Zambia, formerly in Equatorial Africa, discovered by an explorer David Livingstone in 1868, and on the shore of which he died. It is 150 miles long, and half as wide. It is situated at about 3690 ft above sea-level. It is a freshwater lake and wetland system with Chambeshi River as its inflow source and the Luapula River as its outflow.
