Barthélemy Prosper Enfantin
Barthélemy Prosper Enfantin (1796-1864) was a French socialist, journalist, and social reformer, born in Paris. He adopted the views of Saint-Simon. He held subversive views on the marriage laws, which involved him in some trouble. He wrote a useful and sensible book on Algerian colonisation, and several works, mainly interpretative of the theories of Saint-Simon.Nearby pages
