Benedicite

Benedicite is an ecclesiastical term for blessing — '...Bless ye the Lord...' — especially a grace said at table in religious communities.

'The Benedicite' also denotes the canticle "Benedicite, omnia opera Domini" in Latin which is literally “O all ye works of the Lord” in English. In the Anglican service of matins it is said “O all ye works of the Lord, bless ye the Lord.” The text is taken from the Apocrypha.
