Benisagar is in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand in India. It is situated at an area bordering Orissa. It derives its name after the king Beni. The place has archaeological importance because of findings of many articles. The famous Khiching temple of this place is related to the king Kichak of Mahabharat. It is said the Pandavas had come here during their exile (Agyat Vas).
